Nano/Semiconductor Introduction Page

  ReynoldsTech’s portfolio of NANO/SEMI
products brings innovative effective solutions to the research, development and manufacturing environments. ReynoldsTech was founded in 1978 as a manufacturer of custom plastic and metal components. Over that time one of our core competencies has become supplying process equipment and related components to the semi conductor industry. Over our 28 years in business we have grown with the industry and continue to work within the industry to supply and develop leading edge equipment. As the semi conductor industry continues its migration towards smaller and smaller feature sizes, we at ReynoldsTech have expanded our services to support those institutions and companies entering into the MEMS and Nano device markets. ReynoldsTech will be there to work with our clients to offer our knowledge and fabrication expertise to guide decision making in producing a successful project.

We offer our clients a full range of services dependent upon their needs and requirements. These can take many forms such as evaluation of new vs. existing process requirements, building proof of concept tools, tools for pilot lines as well as tool sets for manufacturing lines. The ability to work with our clients from concept development through product manufacturing helps to insure process and product quality and saves time and valuable resources for our customers. These savings are further enhanced by the fact that our staff can offer our experience in helping you to design your facilities. Our clients have found these services to be most useful in cutting down on the hassles and headaches that all to often occur when bringing a new project on-line.

Clients choose ReynoldsTech because yes, “They know the practicality of what it takes to build and maintain process equipment”, but more than that, our clients are working with a company that has the theoretical knowledge and scientific expertise to ensure a successful project. This expertise can take many forms from initial modeling to statistical validation of results from in-house testing at our facility or when required, testing done by one of our staff members at Cornell Universities Nan Scale Science and Technology Laboratory.

As we see MEMS and Nano devices start to play an
ever-increasing role in both the Biological and Pharmaceutical industries there will be a convergence of both CMOS and Life Science processing methods. At ReynoldsTech, given our service to both the Nano/Semi and Life Science industries, we have the unique ability to offer semiconductor process equipment that is cGMP compliant as outlined by the FDA.
